Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Phantom Of The Opera’ Spinoff ‘Masquerade’ Plans Six-Week NYC Run, Announces Attire Requirements For Attendance
Tickets for a six-week New York summer run of Masquerade, the immersive Phantom of the Opera spin-off from Andrew Lloyd Webber, go on sale June 30.
In the latest cryptic message, or press release, sent out under the guise of a missive from the Phantom himself, instructions for getting tickets – as well as requirements for attending the show – are outlined. The “Phantom” missives posted to social media in recent months typically refer to an “untimely and unwise eviction from The Majestic Theater.” Earlier this month, a man dressed in the famous half-mask and formal opera-wear disembarked from an old-timey carriage at Sunday’s Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall, another in the series of clues that Masquerade was imminent.
