Woody Paige, a seasoned panelist, proved to be a beloved figure among the commentaries, the majority dubbing him the “GOAT” of the show; meanwhile, occasional reminiscences were made of former contributors like Jay Mariotti, who once was a forceful presence before a somewhat acrimonious exit from ESPN. Some hated the show and found the format to be “stupid” and that it “should have been killed years ago.” Another comment was so harsh that it screamed: “Sports dialogue would be so much better if all this hot take nonsense disappeared forever.”
