‘Tulsa King’ Spinoff ‘NOLA King’ With Samuel L. Jackson to Change Showrunners as Dave Erickson Exits (EXCLUSIVE)

The potential "Tulsa King" spinoff series "NOLA King" is changing showrunners, with Dave Erickson exiting the series.

Variety has learned exclusively from sources that Dave Erickson is no longer attached to run “NOLA King,” which has not been formally greenlit at Paramount+ at this time. Sources say the departure was due to a scheduling conflict and that the search is actively underway to find a new showrunner for the high-priority series. Erickson is also the showrunner on “Tulsa King” Season 3 and fellow Taylor Sheridan-verse show “Mayor of Kingstown” starring Jeremy Renner.
