‘The Traitors’ Gets Season 2 Greenlight at Prime Video India (EXCLUSIVE)


Prime Video India greenlights 'The Traitors' Season 2 after the Karan Johar-hosted reality series reached 88% of India's post codes since June debut.

Set against the backdrop of a palace in Suryagarh, Rajasthan, and hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, the first season brings together 20 well-known personalities from across the entertainment spectrum in what the network describes as “the ultimate game of trust and deception.” The cast includes Anshula Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Uorfi Javed, among others. The unscripted series, which premiered June 12 with new episodes dropping every Thursday, has quickly become a pop culture phenomenon, reaching viewers across 88% of India’s post codes and generating social media buzz with fan reactions and theories, per Prime Video.
