‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants’ Trailer: The Bikini Bottom Gang Head to the Underworld
Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies have released the first trailer for "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants."
The story follows SpongeBob on a journey across the deep blue sea as he faces off against the Flying Dutchman, a recurring antagonist from the television series. While Brian Doyle-Murray conventionally voices the Flying Dutchman on television, Mark Hamill brings his vocal talents to the character in “Search for SquarePants.” Meanwhile, the rest of the film’s voices remain loyal to the show’s regular cast: Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick Star, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward Tentacles, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy Cheeks and Mr. Lawrence as Plankton. Newcomers George Lopez, Ice Spice, Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola and Regina Hall will also lend their voices to the film, presumably as new characters.
