‘The Pitt’ Emmy Submissions Revealed With Noah Wyle Up For Lead Actor & Writing


One of the top contenders on the 2025 Emmy drama race, HBO Max's breakout medical drama The Pitt, has firmed up its submissions.

He is up for Lead Actor In a Drama Series for his portrayal of Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, the dedicated senior attending physician at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital. All of Wyle’s series regular co-stars, playing members of the hospital’s medical staff — largely residents — are up for Supporting Actor/Actress In a Drama Series: Patrick Ball (Dr. Frank Langdon), Gerran Howell (Dennis Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Victoria Javadi), Isa Briones (Dr. Trinity Santos), Taylor Dearden (Dr. Melissa “Mel” King), Fiona Dourif (Dr. Cassie McKay), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Samira Mohan), Tracy Ifeachor (Dr. Heather Collins) and Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans). The show will have three contenders in the Guest Actor/Actress categories: Shawn Hatosy, for his role as attending physician Dr. Jack Abbot, as well as Mackenzie Austin and Rebecca Tilney, who play adult siblings grappling with their elderly father’s do not resuscitate order.
