As Deadline previously exclusively reported, according to sources, a new English-language Squid Game series is being developed by David Fincher at the streamer, but there has been no official confirmation by Netflix. Squid Game made Emmy history with first-ever wins for a non-English language show and Season 2 was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Drama.
