‘Roofman’ Trailer: Channing Tatum Is a Criminal Living Inside a Toys ‘R’ Us in Real-Life Crime Story

The trailer for the film "Roofman," starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, has been released and is based on a true story.

To make ends meet, he decides to rob McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname “Roofman.” While hiding in a toy store after escaping from prison, he starts a new life when he falls in love with a single mother (played by Kirsten Dunst) and her two daughters. Miramax acquired the film for certain territories, including the United States, and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures as part of their first look deal with both companies. Tatum will next be seen in Marvel’s “Avengers: Doomsday,” where he’ll reprise his “Deadpool and Wolverine” role as the X-Men character Gambit.
