‘Project Hail Mary’ Trailer: Ryan Gosling Blasts Off Into Space to Save Earth in Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s Sci-Fi Comedy

The trailer for "Project Hail Mary," starring Ryan Gosling as an astronaut, has been released.

The comedic sci-fi film from Amazon MGM Studios follows Gosling, whose character makes a leap from unassuming teacher to an astronaut assigned to a risky space mission. The “Barbie” star appears opposite Sandra Hüller(“Anatomy of a Fall”), who convinces Gosling’s character to launch himself into space to save humanity. “The Martian,” which was directed by Ridley Scott and starred Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain, went on to garner seven Oscar nominations and was a box office smash.
