‘Monopoly’ Competition Series Lands at Netflix
The 'Monopoly' reality competition series has landed at Netflix.
The board game-inspired reality show was announced in March after it hit the marketplace. From Hasbro Entertainment, “Monopoly” is the latest move by Netflix to drum up unscripted content based on IP, following “Squid Game: The Challenge” and “The Golden Ticket,” a competition show in the works based on the world of Willy Wonka. The “Monopoly” series is separate from the feature film from Lionsgate and Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap, the company that powered Hasbro’s Barbie doll into a $1.4 billion box office juggernaut.
