King Charles has been accused of delivering "a huge slap in the face" to Buckingham Palace's royal chefs by bringing in French culinary legend Raymond Blanc to assist with this week's state banquet. The first part of Mr Macron's state visit included a lavish dinner at Windsor Castle's grand St George's Hall, attended by Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and various celebrities. However, Darren McGrady, former personal chef to the late Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana and Princes William and Harry, criticised Charles' decision to enlist Mr Blanc's help for the party.
