‘He Doesn’t Take No for an Answer’
The Sean “Diddy” Combs closing arguments have begun.
In her closing argument in the Sean “Diddy” Combs New York sex-trafficking trial on Thursday, prosecutor Christy Slavik delivered a clear message about the fallen mogul’s alleged decadeslong pattern of abusive behavior: “He doesn’t take no for an answer.” Over the course of nearly five hours, Slavik detailed Combs’s seemingly endless demands for sex, drugs, and control — and how he used his sprawling business resources to satisfy them no matter what. At the center of his case are two accusers, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and “Jane,” who claim that he lured them into a twisted world of drug-fueled sexual encounters with male escorts under the guise of a romantic relationship. She said this reflects a pattern of this behavior, pointing to Jane’s description of a 2024 incident in which Combs allegedly dragged her and beat her before pressuring her into sexual activity with an escort.
