‘Alert’ & ‘The Cleaning Lady’ Canceled By Fox
Fox has determined the fate of two bubble shows, cancelling dramas Alert: Missing Persons Unit after three seasons and The Cleaning Lady after four.
As for anthology Accused, developed and executive produced by Howard Gordon, it may come back in the future for a limited run as an event, Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network, said last moth. The Cleaning Lady, headlined by Élodie Yung, underwent creative retooling heading into this season after the series faced the tragic loss of its male lead Adan Canto to cancer. Kate Del Castillo, Santiago Cabrera, Sean Lew, Faith Bryant, and Khalen Roman Sanchez also starred in the series, based on an Argentine format, which was developed for American television by Miranda Kwok.
