3 Doors Down Singer Brad Arnold Reveals Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis

3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold has announced that he has been diagnosed with stage four clear cell renal cell carcinoma, a type of kidney cancer.

I’ve got some not-so-good news for you today,” he began, sharing that he had been sick a couple of weeks ago and decided to get checked at a hospital. “I really, sincerely am not scared of it at all.” The singer said that the band would have to cancel their tour this summer, before asking fans to to “lift me up in prayer every chance you get” and encouraging them to listen to 3 Doors Down’s 2008 song, “It’s Not My Time.” Arnold formed 3 Doors Down with longtime lead guitarist Matt Roberts, who died August 2016, and bassist Todd Harrell in 1996 in Escatawpa, Mississippi.
