16 And Pregnant star Whitney Purvis claims son's tragic death 'could have been prevented' as she blasts her ex
Whitney Purvis spoke out on Wednesday, days after missing the funeral of her 16-year-old son Weston Gosa Jr. who died tragically earlier this month.
The 16 and Pregnant star, 32, took to Facebook to share her side of the story after reports surfaced claiming she was denied entry to the service by her son's father Weston Gosa Sr. (pictured) Reflecting on their son’s death, Purvis claimed Gosa Sr. briefly acted with kindness to get her to sign cremation papers, but returned to what she described as 'spiteful' behavior once she complied. When news of Weston Jr.'s death broke earlier this month, his stepmother Amy Gosa wrote on Facebook: 'We do not know the cause, they will do an autopsy soon but all we know is we got up this morning around 7 am and tried to wake him up, he was not breathing, we attempted cpr and called an ambulance.'
